The Western North Carolina Air Museum has been shaped by many dedicated individuals whose passion, service, and friendship helped make the museum what it is today. “Gone West” honors those cherished members of our museum family who have passed on, while celebrating their contributions to preserving aviation history and inspiring future generations. Though they are no longer with us, their legacy continues to soar.
