The Western North Carolina Air Museum, located in Hendersonville, features 25 aircraft on display, along with a variety of historic exhibits that highlight the rich aviation heritage of Western N.C. Few museums offer an experience like this one, where you can walk among the airplanes while learning about their history. Kids will especially enjoy the sport flyer exhibit, which lets them sit in the cockpit and imagine themselves piloting an aircraft. Located just a few miles from downtown Hendersonville, NC, the museum is a must-see attraction when visiting the area.
